Does the singularity already exist

It is unclear what happens when the singularity emerges. The world as we know it could drastically change or there could be no significant changes to our everyday life. There is also a chance that we would not even notice when the singularity emerges. If this is the case it could also be that the emergence of the superintelligence has already happend.
