Honesty in the presentation of things¶
This goal is that individuals are honest in sharing their knowledge and do not manipulate details for their own benefit.
Sometimes we come in situations where we want to share our knowledge with other individuals but have the fear that it has negative consequences for us if we present things as we see them ourselves. In this situation it can be tempting to omit details and shift the focus in a specific way or claim false facts so that other individuals get a wrong impression of how things really are. When this becomes a common practice in society it has the consequence that the perception of the reality gets distorted and false believes are spread among the members of the society. The goal is therefore to avoid the manipulation of knowledge and prevent the occurrence of situations or environments where individuals get encouraged or urged to manipulate knowledge.
