# Basic Concepts and Constructed Concepts

The concepts of a [conceptlogic](conceptlogic.md) can be separated into two types:
1) Basic Concepts which have an external definition that can not be derived by the way they are connected with each other. One example of basic concepts are the [data concepts](../../data/graph/data-concept.md)
2) [Constructed concepts](constructed-concept.md) that are defined by the way they are connected to other concepts
