# Data Concept

A data concept is a concept of a [conceptlogic](../../graph/conceptlogic/conceptlogic.md), that contains a byte content and a data format. The data format is encoded as an [USMA](../adresses/unique-shared-memory-address.md) byte string and the byte content is a byte string that has to be interpreted by the according data format.
