# Dunin node status

For each [dunin](../../graph/organizing/dwll-url-node-identification-namespace.md) node a [dunin-agent](dunin-agent.md) can have one of multiple status codes.

**"owned"** : The dunin agent knows that it has defined the nodes content and remembers its content **"known"** : The content of the dunin node is known to the dunin agent from third parties
**"unknown"** : The content of the dunin node is not known to the dunin agent
**"reserved"** : The dunin node is owned by the dunin agent but not jet set
